PURPOSE

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a mid-level Graphic Designer to join our team and bring our brand vision to life in a part or full-time role (3 days/week minimum).  This position will be based out of our Emeryville, CA office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate and work closely with the Brand Team to conceptualize and execute visual design for brand materials and assets, including digital, social, web and blog graphics, email newsletters and signatures, advertisements (OOH and digital), business cards, PowerPoints, packaging updates and prototypes, and more.

  • Additionally, you will support The Greater REBBL Team with visual design and storytelling, including:
    • Trade Marketing Collateral- coupons, sale sheets, trade advertisements, POS items (in-store displays, shelf talkers, shelf strips, neck hangers, posters, etc.), retailer meeting decks, and more
    • Field Marketing- postcard collateral, signage, tents, displays, cooler barrels, t-shirts, and swag
    • Impact - Impact Report development and general visual storytelling of impact-related metrics
    • Innovation - packaging updates and solutions (existing and future innovations - i.e. direct-to-consumer, etc.) and other projects as needed
  • Work with Brand Team to conceptualize Look and Feel and Style Guide for quarterly campaigns (e.g. Earth Month, Super Herb Day, etc.) and build out program tool-kit of assets.
  • Manage and continually update the digital library of REBBL design assets, including PowerPoint templates, bottle renders, business cards, postcards, stickers, labels, style guide, and much more.
  • Work with Community Manager to ensure art direction is realized all the way from conception through production and maintain brand voice and integrity.
  • Work closely with Brand Team, Packaging Designer, Community Manager, and Chief Innovation Officer on finalizing new packaging artwork and mechanicals.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Brand Teams to better understand the challenges in our retail environment, and develop solutions to solve those challenges.
  • Engage in user research projects to better understand the REBBL consumer’s needs and how we can best be of service to them.
  • Enhance and elevate current Brand Guidelines, Style Guide and overall Visual Identity System in collaboration with greater Brand Team.
  • Strategize on future REBBL website updates and enhancements, and take ownership of future front-end design execution.
  • Lead the development of our new Innovation Assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design
  • Must have or highly desire experience with CPG/Food & Beverage
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Understanding of online media, and how to design in one program and then release files for final posting and/or production
  • Strong understanding of Macintosh work environment, and Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Responsible, self-motivated, dependable, and engaging
  • Warm, personable, and capable of nurturing relationships

JOB SPECIFICS

Full-time, salaried position (OR part-time with a minimum of 3 days a week); must be located at REBBL HQ in Emeryville, CA
